Pittsford Central School District

SEI Design Group assisted the Pittsford Central School District during the pre-referendum phase, and district voters approved two propositions in 2012. The first proposition included $35.6 million in school repair and renovations to all nine of the district school facilities.

General scope items included HVAC system improvements, fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, exit signage, code compliance, telephone and PA system upgrades, restroom upgrades to meet ADA requirements, and electrical infrastructure upgrades.

The second proposition was a $7.6 million improvement project to the district’s physical education facilities; a synthetic turf and running track resurfacing at the existing Mendon High School stadium, and synthetic turf and stadium lights at the existing Sutherland High School stadium. Also included are concession stands and restrooms that were funded by community contributions.

The district broke ground on June 3, 2014, at the Sutherland High School athletic field and ribbon-cutting took place on October 24, 2014.

SEI founding members, Brian Cieslinski, Michael Ebertz, and Bari Lee, were also involved in another project at the district prior to SEI. They provided extensive pre-referendum services that led to a $112.2 million capital improvement project. The project was broken down into four phases and included work at all district facilities as well as a new middle school.
