The high school building work includes the gymnasium, cafeteria, and auditorium. Sitework at the high school includes new tennis courts and two new soccer and lacrosse fields to the area between the track/athletic field and the transportation center. These fields will provide an improved playing surface as well as easier access for those fans who have trouble accessing their current upper fields. The work in that area would also include a new parking lot between the new fields and a new concession/bathroom/storage facility.
The design phase of the project will occur over the course of the next year, which will include the work of multiple committees. The goal is to go out to bid in the winter/spring of 2019 with an anticipated start date for construction in late spring/early summer of 2019.
