Canajoharie Central School District
To further protect their students, faculty, and staff SEI Design Group is working with the Canajoharie School District to rejuvenate tired systems and components throughout all District buildings. This project is the first phase of a multi-phase District facilities improvement plan with a focus on safety and security.
The additions of secure vestibules at all main school entry points, hardened classroom doors to protect students, ability to lockdown classrooms remotely, enhanced video surveillance, and emergency notification system installation will be completed to address the concerns of safety and security for students and staff.
Other enhancements include partial roof replacement, relocation of the main office to the new secure vestibule at the middle school, new flooring at the elementary school, and the resurfacing of the high school track with a new rubber coating along with field events upgrades and relocation. An Energy Performance Contract to upgrade MEP systems will complete the project.
