As always, we bring you holiday gift ideas to ease your shopping chaos.  This will be a 3-part series with ideas and hints for the season.  Part 1 will focus on non-tech related gifts.  Shocker!  Included are gifts for the architect within you!   First up is a little pricey, but if you love architecture and buildings, then you can’t avoid these – large models of famous buildings including some Lego construction sets.  You could also get these stone coasters of Frank Lloyd Wright textile blocks.  We could shop in the MOMA Store for hours, but these 2 items caught our eye: a really neat blueprint paperweight, and these cool poster hangers.

The Albany Office got up close to President Obama as he passed by near the office.  Here are a few photos including one where they saw President Obama on his cell phone as his car passed by.

It would be really hard to go hungry at SEI.  If you are wondering what a good food day looks like, here you go!  And this was totally unplanned – you can just imagine what happens when planning occurs.  Thanks to Karen, Michele, Paula, and Brian for the goodies!

Perhaps a good lesson for our next Canstruction???

Well, the food was terrific, the larger tent and sign were great, and the team came out for the event. The massive downpour during the race was not appreciated. As usual, Team Captain, Ted Mountain lets nothing get him down, and even when drenched has a smile on his face. And that was a dryfit SEI shirt. Who knew it would look like that? That’s the mojo, Ted!

Here’s the scoop well in advance so you can mark your calendars.  As we have told you before, one of SEI’s partners, Bari Lee, went to school with Ben and Jerry.  Each year Ben and Jerry’s holds  a program where they offer a free cone at their scoop shops.  The date for 2009 is April 21 and celebrates their 31st anniversary.  Click here to find a location near you and mark the date on your calendar.
