Voters in  Canton Central School District approved Proposition #1 and Proposition #2 last night.

This project includes replacement/repair of the current heating system, extensive infrastructure, site repairs and safety items.  Necessary HVAC work should be started this summer.

An $8.2 million capital improvement project was approved by Brasher Falls Central School District voters last night.  The project includes replacement of the heating system, repair and replacement of old, deteriorated infrastructure, and replacement of 60-year old electrical distribution systems.  These improvements will increase both the safety and usefulness of the school facilities.

Congratulations to Saranac Central School District!  Last night, district voters approved Saranac CSD’s $5.6 million capital improvement project which focuses on energy, health and safety items including window and door, HVAC and generator replacements.  This project takes advantage of EXCEL funding.

Our client, Doug Premo, Superintendent at South Lewis Central School District, had an unbelievable experience.  At left you can see Doug with a little memento which we presented to him at the NYSCOSS convention. Doug attended a Yankee game with his son Jake, daughter and wife.  The following is Doug’s analysis:

SEI Design Group has been selected as Canton Central School District’s architect and is assisting them to determine the scope of work for their capital improvement project. It is anticipated that the project will involve replacement/repair of the current heating system, extensive infrastructure, site repairs and safety items.

SEI Design Group was recently awarded the Stepping Stones Learning Center Relocation and Renovation Project. The Center will be relocating to an existing building in Rochester, NY.  The project includes the renovation of 50,000 square feet for: classrooms, clinic spaces for children and specialists, family training and observation rooms, conference areas, gymnasium, an all-purpose room, administrative offices, indoor and outdoor play areas, school bus drop-off and pick-up area, and a 200-car parking lot.

The Schuylerville CSD project was recently published in Learning By Design as Outstanding Project 2011.  You can read the project and award info here.  Congrats to all involved!

Congratulations to Naples Central School District!  Voters approved a $21,710,000 capital construction project which involves improvements to both the Jr/ Sr High School and Elementary School.  A major portion of the work will take place at the Jr/ Sr High School and includes cafeteria/kitchen/entry addition, pool addition, CAD classroom addition, and improvements to gym/ locker room, technology, mechanical, electrical, security, infrastructure, ADA, roofing, and sitework.

Congratulations to Lansingburgh CSD on their $18.5M project bond vote, approved by district voters on December 7, 2010.  The scope of work involves high school athletic field upgrades, including an artificial turf football field, instructional technology improvements, and infrastructure improvements.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest client, Ellicottville CSD.  We will be working with the District on their Building Condition Surveys and Master Plan.  The District will then prioritize items for a Capital Project.  If you haven’t been fortunate enough to visit the area, you can view some gorgeous photos and video.
