Only Apple could think of this creative solution that is only four stories tall.  They are out of space to house staff currently located on their campus and many rental properties throughout Cupertino.  This new plan presented by Steve Jobs himself (watch the video) would solve the current dilemma of housing 12,000 employees in 1 building in Cupertino.

Architectural Record Magazine is running a cocktail napkin sketch contest.

There have to be architects in addition to Vic who love doing this!

SEI Design Group is pleased to be working with Brasher Falls Central School District.  SEI is providing professional architectural services for a future capital improvement project which includes renovations and alterations to their existing facilities.

Congratulations to Naples Central School District!  Voters approved a $21,710,000 capital construction project which involves improvements to both the Jr/ Sr High School and Elementary School.  A major portion of the work will take place at the Jr/ Sr High School and includes cafeteria/kitchen/entry addition, pool addition, CAD classroom addition, and improvements to gym/ locker room, technology, mechanical, electrical, security, infrastructure, ADA, roofing, and sitework.

It looks like it is time for another SEI contest.  This time, the prize will be another flying monkey, but with a twist. Our latest pet has a parachute to help with the landing, but it appears from the video below that more is needed. To enter the contest, make your own version of an SEI landing pad for the monkey to help cushion his fall.  Email a digital photo of your entry.

Winner will get a new addition to their family: a flying monkey complete with parachute! This contest is open to all including SEI staff and families.  You can also leave a comment here to “name the monkey”.  While there will not be a parachute involved, the winner of the naming contest will also win a prize.

We love technology, and finding quality new toys and gadgets is a pastime.    The Plantronics 975 far exceeds all expectations.  It is rare to find such a good bluetooth headset.  Just happy to get one that stays in your ear, and is clear for you and the person on the other end.  Well this baby does all that and more.  And it is small and lightweight.  Small is good!  You also get a nifty little leather charging case and the micro USB also charges the case! Congratulations to Lansingburgh CSD on their $18.5M project bond vote, approved by district voters on December 7, 2010.  The scope of work involves high school athletic field upgrades, including an artificial turf football field, instructional technology improvements, and infrastructure improvements.
