May 21, 2009

lego-architecturePrairie Mod scooped some big news for fans of architecture and Legos.  The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation in conjunction with Lego Architecture and Brickstructures announced a collaboration to produce construction sets for both the Guggenheim Museum and Falling Water.    Lego Architecture has additional sets including Empire State Building,  John Hancock Center, Sears Tower, and Seattle Space Needle.

LEGOS are the best! The models look like they are small scale, desk-size objects…I’m looking forward to seeing them. Good find, Bari!

Those are cool, maybe a good idea for a blog contest prize?

Mmm…can’t tell you whether I’m pumped or having flashbacks of childhood when father would inevitably step on the Lego while walking through the house at night (the scream would rouse the neighbors).

Makes for great opp to educate the family on America’s greatest architecture.
