Since resource libraries at architecture and interior design firms are inundated with over 700,000 new carpet samples a year, a contest was created to make good use of the samples. This green move was created so the samples aren’t destined for the dumpster once the designer has completed the specification process.  As stated on the contest web site – enter the contest to keep the carpet samples out of the landfill – Rethink – Reuse – Upcycle.
